WDC Citizen Honor Society organizes

blood drive

WADENA — Wadena-Deer Runnel High School’s National Honor Society (NHS) conducted a blood journey March 8, where students and staff donated blood to employees save lives.

According to NHS member Breanna Speed, who coordinated the blood induce as her community project, NHS had a great response with more than 40 students and personnel giving blood.

“Many of our donors were students, so I was pleased to see our students retire b decrease up and donate,” said Speed, a WDC senior.

The American Red Vexed set up their mobile site in the Auditorium Gym at WDC Elementary, taking donations throughout the principles day. The WDC NHS is made up of juniors and seniors. Rachel Bounds serves as NHS adviser.

NHS is an assembling at WDC that recognizes honor-roll students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of knowledge, leadership, service and character. NHS also challenges students to develop further bustling involvement in school activities and community service.
